What is a Source of Funds check, and why is it important?

From time to time we may request additional information to understand how you fund your gambling. This is to ensure we carry out Know Your Customer checks (KYC), which all licensed operators are required to do. Our source of funds checks help us keep the industry free from crime and that gambling activity does not lead to harm which could negatively affect your experience. 

For these checks we can ask for information which shows the source of the funds used to gamble with us. We do this for the following reasons:
